It was almost a century ago that Virgilio Valobra established in Genoa his plant for the manufacture of soap. He was determined to adhere strictly to the formulas and methods of the master soap manufacturers of the 18th century. Those masters had made the Riviera between Portofino and Marseille a region renewed for the finest soap.

Today the manufacture is still in the hands of the Valobra Family and the way of working remains the same as one century ago.
