What to say about the Mama Shelter Hotel….
There’s lots of good points like the fact that if you attend Paris by car, the hotel is two minutes drive from the Périphérique.
The Staff is friendly and helpful.
It’s really a « Starck » Hotel.
The design, the concept, the colors, you can see Philippe Starck signature.
The problem for me is that the rooms are very small (not to talk about the bathrooms).
The ceiling is very low and painted in black, wich gives even more this impression of «stifling ».
Also, the rooms policy is quite weird…..
We were 5 persons (3 adults and two kids – 4 year old).
We wanted to book two rooms (2 adults + 1 kid & 1 adult + 1 kid) but it wasn’t possible.
They don’t allow to book more than 2 persons per room…..
So we had to book 3 rooms (2 adults + 1 adult + 2 kids)…..
When we arrive at the Hotel, they told us that there’s no connecting rooms (although it was confirmed)….
So if you inttend to go there with a child, forget it !!!!!
He will have to sleep alone in a separate room with no connection…..
Has it all the rest was fine, the restaurant is good, the atmosphere is great and the People are nice.
Worth the visit.
